was at hotel in a trip to Iowa.

Left to have lunch.

Elevators not working... so I used the emergency exit... it gone to the outside of the hotel... I found it strange, but entered the car.

As soon as I turned the radio on, there was a tornado alert, and when I arrived at Pizza Hut they were saying how close it was to hit Cedar Rapids... but it never got near me, but I was tense as fuck... we don't have this in Brazil.

Yeah, we get so many tornado warnings around here I've taken them for granted. Chances are you'll never see one. An unfortunate few have not been so lucky though

Funniest story I ever heard was from a coworker.

One day they were home getting ready to sleep and the door ring... wife go to attend and it was some neighborhood watch or Police Officer. He said there were a Tornado nearby and for them to take shelter.

When the wife asks where the tornado was he pointed back and it was very near.

The entire reason I bought a PS1 was to play Final Fantasy VII. Prior to that, I had no interest in and minimal knowledge of the system. I was aware of the PlayStation, having read about it in EGM and GamePro, but I had no interest in this new console brand until I found out that Square was releasing the next Final Fantasy game exclusive for it. Fortunately the PS1 cost only $150 at the time, maybe $130 (can't remember the exact month I bought it). I ended up getting several more games for the system, though the N64 was by far my preferred system that generation.

First time I saw a PSX was at a friend house and I tought it was strange to have O, triangle and square on the controller... but the tekken that was being played was fantastic.

Also some friends played FF VII in Japanese without any guide... me loving FF story can't understand the point of playing without being able to understand anything.
