Probably as a kid when I bought Pokemon Stadium 2, and a "Gameboy to N64 converter" thing that you put in the N64 controller in order to play Pokemon Crystal on the N64 (I didn't have a Gameboy) and transfer some Pokemon (Needed Stadium for that). Looking back, that was a lot of money for a kid just to play one game.

Still remember walking out of the gamestore with those things in my bag. Opening up that shiny Crystal gamebox on the bus ride home, and seeing the pretty transparent game cartridge. Good times.

There's something almost magical about Pokemon Crystal. It's like .. the least talked about Pokemon game and yet it's art and color look so beautifully vintage.

Also, you could play gameboy games on N64?!?!?! I knew that Pokemon Stadium allowed for Pokemon transfer, and I knew Gamecube had the Super Gameboy, but that's amazing!
