Nope.

I will not replace what i need to do with a movement of the analog stick with a contraption on my head. It's just never gonna happen.

???!!! It's not as simple as using head tracking for more realistic aiming/looking. It's about actually feeling present in the game world. Have you tried any VR experiences? It's not just a screen strapped to your face, you get the effect of a good 3D movie x1000 (no real way for me to measure this but you get the idea).

In-fact, in many cases you will still need to use an analogue stick or buttons to adjust your view. Especially if you're playing seated.

Yes, i have. And that is what it felt like to me. I didn't feel like i was in the world. I just had an extremely cumbersome camera.

Like... the graphics of games would have to get ALOT closer to reality for me to have that impression, and still it would be cumbersome.

Do you happen to get around on a wheel chair with a welding helmet on?

I'm not making a dig at handicapped, it just seems weird that people would choose to be handicapped in games when we no longer have to. We are finally getting the ability to gain movement of our neck, our hands, our eyes, our hands, and our feet. It is an incredible experience, and once you are comfortable with it, you will be blown away at how restricted you feel on a traditional screen, and M&K or Controller.

Sorry, i just don't feel that way at all. It's more restrictive for me to have a contraption on my head than it is holding a controller.

Call me again when the holodeck is a thing.
