Yep. It’s a nice start, but needs a ton more SP content to compare to other racers or even past GT titles. Hopefully they add more, I’ll pick it up down the line.

That’s not even true. The game had more content than GT1 and GT3 from the start. The single player campaign already was 20 hours plus many more hours in arcade and custom race mode. With an added SP career like in older games (which are esentially just cups build from the custom race mode, so basically content which was available for everyone from the start...people were just too lazy to build the races themselves), the game will have more than enough content, especially for the 30€ it costs atm at PSN!

Didn’t notice this quote before. If you’re not into racing online then the game certainly doesn’t compare to other modern racers in terms of content, let alone past GT titles. Furthermore the issue at launch wasn’t only the lack of SP content, but what SP content was actually there. They’re license challenges. Time attack missions. Driving etiquette lessons, LOL. This is supposed to replace actual SP content?

Also your notion that people should have just built their own cups and festivals using custom races is probably the most hilarious example of excusing a games shortcomings I have ever seen on this forum. The only thing I can think of that would be remotely comparable is if there were a Halo 5 thread where someone was voicing a legitimate beef, like lack of split screen co-op, and someone replied saying they could just set up four Xbones and four TVs and play through the campaign at the same time and make believe it was split screen. That’s how silly what you said is. In past games the cups and festivals in GT have been used to progress through the game, unlock new cars, unlock more license tests, unlock more upgrades, earn money for said upgrades. In Sport you just play license challenges over and over, and the arcade mode is just there in case the servers go down basically. You don’t earn progression aside from maybe miles driven so you can level up your car.

Im glad you enjoy the game, but don’t be so dismissive of legitimate complaints, especially when they’re literally being addressed by the developers, confirming their validity.
