There's no point in having a new PS4, a PS4 Pro S maybe but I don't think that's a good idea seeing how the Pro isn't a strongly sought out console. I think 2021 is a good year to start a new console generation, 4k isn't mainstream as yet, it's still catching on. The pro is something that'll catch steam in the later years along with the Xbox One X. By 2019 I'm sure that 4k will be more widespread though still not mainstream, giving 2 years for the upper-class consoles to really thrive and that should be when the new consoles come out.
We live in the golden age of gaming in this gen, we have great photorealistic graphics, smooth multiplayer, what I'm saying is that games are overall just so technically good and right now I don't see gaming go to the next level as yet. VR is a long way away from being good. This gen is the peak of gaming as it is unless somehow somebody discovers some cool VR/AR tech.
So a PS5 will not come out in 2019 and if it does it won't be a good idea.
