its the internet providers idea and their idea only. basically they lobby their way into politicians pockets and make this bill happen. this literally doesnt help anybody but internet providers. literally nobody else. even mega corporations like google, sony, apple and others are against this because it hurts them as well. this allows, no not just allows, will force monopolies in the internet, it will hurt consumers, it will hurt websites, it will hurt companies and it will hurt the internet. the only two people who benefit from this are internet providers and the whore politicians who lobby for it.
