True, the current wireless solutions have you carry a battery on your body. You don't want that additional weight on your head. Wireless will also add lag due to the need for compression as dual 4K at 120fps is a whopping 44.5 gbps. It doesn't even fit over a HDMI 2.1 cable which top out at 18 gbps. VR is pushing limits everywhere.
