Absolutely horrible clock management by Seattle/mostly Russell Wilson at the end. Around the 50 yard line with no timeouts and about 45 or so seconds left, and he throws 2 short passes for about 8 yards, both in bounds, that run the clock down to about 20 seconds left. Another short in bounds pass for 7 or so and they have to spike it and try a field goal.

When you're in that kind of position with a solid 25-30 yards to go before you're in comfortable field goal position, you can't spend close to 40 of your remaining 45 seconds picking up a grand total of 15 yards. If you're gonna throw it short, it has to be on a route where the receiver can get out of bounds. Considering that the FG attempt came up like two yards short, it cost them the game, the division lead, and makes getting to the playoffs with an extremely tough schedule coming up (3 of the next 4 are against current division leaders) that much trickier.

I think it's worth noting just how much terrible decision making cost the Seahawks tonight. The stupidest fake FG call in recent memory cost them three points that would've sent the game to OT. The terrible decision to challenge the Baldwin incompletion ruling cost them a timeout that could've gotten them into FG range. And, of course, the clock management at the end. Of course, I can't get too upset at Seattle's questionable decision making, but when you're just hoping for a good game, having to watch a team implode like that sucks.
