I said since the Switch's launch, not talking about when the game was still Zelda U.

Also when it comes to BotW, Nintendo was very secretive about the plot.  We got some gameplay, but the story was a mystery until the game's launch.  This is why people thought it would have been delayed a third time.

Seeing as how this is a story based DLC, it would make sense that we hear nothing about it until launch.  Furthermore, as a DLC, it would not get as much coverage as we all know how BotW plays by now.  They would want to maintain whatever sense of wonder they could and not spoil it by showing too much of it too soon.

And finally, they already confirmed it to come in Dec, which is two weeks away.  If they were to delay it, they are cutting it awfully close.

So again, still awaiting valid reasons for thinking that a delay is likely.  I just don't see it in the cards based on what we have seen.

Already been answered, but I'll emphasize it.

1. A couple weeks ago, they reiterated that the DLC will drop in December.

2. Since the Switch's launch, we have had no reason to doubt any of their release dates. Surprisingly people continue to doubt every time. Seems people constantly say "Oh Splatoon will delay till next month, or Xeno next year, or Mario next year, ect"

Most of Zelda's delay was because Wii U sucked and they wanted to make it a switch launch game. Thus it got delayed for 2 reasons. First was due to redoing the game for playing it with no gamepad interaction. The game original used the gamepad. Second, just delay the date to co-launch. If no Switch, the game would have came out a year earlier easy.

Being story based DLC doesn't mean it's kept under wraps until release especially as all DLC has been shown a month or two before launch, Switch only launch in March which is only 8 months it doesn't mean delays can't happen if Switch launched years ago then yeah maybe you could make that argument.

Most of Zelda's delay was from development the Switch version was only ported from Aonuma's own words from April last year onward which means they were still working on it before hand, it's a large game and a large project so it can be expected, the same can go with DLC if the DLC is a large story one where new scenarios and such are added then a delay can be possible after all Nintendo with BOTW confirmed a 2015 release then had to delay as the months went on.
