No, I wasn't making fun of XB1 owners. It's something that happens naturally to ALL owners of ANY console. You are convinced this new iteration of console 'b' is going to dominate. People even boldly claim they're going to regularly update things like Amazon threads because they're convinced it's going to dominate. Another console dominates leaving them feeling 'bad' or looking 'silly'. So, instead of just simply saying 'I was wrong', they then begin to attack games on the console they have the most gripe with. I've watching this phenomena for years now.
Another phenomena you might like to note is when a development team of a certain console goes multiplat. Suddenly that dev team was 'losing it anyway' or was 'never as good as people said (or thought)'
It's funny because I sort of want the price cut of the PS4 to fail in order to observe which people are going to be honest.
In this instance, I drew a conclusion laughably too soon, largely because I was well and truly hammered.
