Like Chrono said splitting up your hands was a solid step and i'd welcome it. As far as just using it to add accelerometers it doesn't seem like it would be worth it. Add the IR so we can have Wii-like FPS controls for R2 or KZ2. That would be pretty solid and i'd definitely grab that.
