Do not work for MS, but yes my company had input on specs and what we would like to see. We were notified when final specs were determined. and many companies were asked for input, and i would suspect were notified as well when specs we finalized. |
Now, that in and of itself is cool, and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But now that you've revealed the above, you cannot deny that my principle still stands. We know what the Xbox One X can currently do now that it's out. But you of all people should know that hardware must be optimized by software. So even if specs were finalized and now that Microsoft knew what the Pro can do after the Pro launch, they knew that they were up against. This gave them an advantage so they have to make sure their product delivered more than the competition. I cannot phantom why anyone would think this is a bad thing that would lead someone to think I was downplaying the X. There really shouldn't be any argument here.
