3) Supersampling enforced via hardware. With the Xbox One X, supersampling is available for every X enhanced game for 1080P tvs so you get a cleaner image with less aliasing. Where with Pro it is essentially upto the discretion of the developer.

It's not just super sampling for 1080P TV's.
It's Super sampling for all screens that are under 4k on Xbox One X. (Well. It's a bit more complicated than that, especially if a game is rendered at sub 4k as there is scaling involved.)

If you have a 240P, 480P, 576P, 720P, 1080P, 1440P and so on display... And the game is being rendered at 4k, all those displays will essentially receive super sampling.

I do think that when OLED TV's become cheaper in the next year, I will be getting the Xbox One X instead of a Pro. It just promotes 4k gaming and content(blu ray) more.

If you only care about Multiplats and the couple of exclusives Microsoft trickles out on the rare occasion. Sure.
But if you enjoy the exclusives on the Playstation or Switch, go with those platforms instead.

At the end of the day you are buying these platforms to play games... And if you do not like the games on offer, then their value proposition becomes tenuous at best.

Imagine that there are teams of people  who feed their families off thinking up this shit working at sony. They could have added a 4k player in the PS4. Or even the Pro. They didn't. And get this, they did that on purpose. The only reason they aren't coming out and saying why is because they own a movie studio and also release disc movies.

But 4k blu-ray movies... hell any disc based movie thing is going the way of the compact disc. Its obsolete tech simply because the majority of the world prefers to consume their content in another way. MS implemented that feature because more than anything else, they needed a marketing gimmick to differentiate themselves from the PS4. They got one, but its useless. Don't believe me? look at the sales of the ONe S the whole of this year. What good did having a 4k player do for it?

There is no real excuse for not including a 4k drive in the Playstation 4 Pro.
"Feeding families" isn't an appropriate excuse, how many billions is Sony's market cap these days? About $60~ billion USD?

Optical disks are here to stay and more choice for the consumer is not a bad thing, in-fact Sony should have CD support as well but they don't.
These consoles are meant to be the media-hub in the living room, omitting various standards erodes that very effort forcing the requirement of multiple devices for some people.

I have a ps4 pro... and yes no 4k bluray is a bummer

I have an Xbox One X. Never used the 4k bluray drive.

But it is nice to have.

The ps3 was the weaker console.........

It was the most powerful console last generation. - Not that it made any real difference in games though.

From everything I've seen and heard the Xbox One X is an excellent piece of hardware, there's no doubt about that. The only issue is that I see no reason to actually buy the console, especially if you already own a normal Xbox One. Better graphics and improved performance just aren't good enough reasons by themselves.

The Xbox One's graphics hardware is mid-range with a low-end tablet CPU.

The hardware isn't the real issue with the machine though... It is the software, it lacks games. It lacks games that can show off the hardware.
The user interface is also terrible and convoluted with options and settings hidden all over the place.

And of course... The Xbox One X doesn't support 1440P, so I am stuck using it at 1080P on my 2k display, which is not ideal and has pretty much turned me off the device for the time being.
