It came at a time when everything was trying to be Sonic and inevitably, everything that wasn't Sonic just ended up kinda forgotten, and I had as well... but then I remembered, that one game I used to rent as a kid and loved, called "Rocket something" or something... and even though it wasn't a game about that Rocket, when I found it eventually and managed to play it again, I was surprised by how much fun it actually was. I came into Rocket Knight Adventures thinking it'd be just one of those crappy games you liked because you were young, but this game is actually, genuinely awesome. Every level is unique as hell, the base mechanics are great, the bosses are crazy and in general the amount of variety is just amazing, you never know what the game is throwing at you next and it's just too much fun. |
I approve of this one. It was short, but such a great game. A hidden gem for sure. Also, I love your format.
