I see people clamouring for Nier to win an award, yet I'm sitting here, still waiting for SE to sort out the PC version, which hasn't received a single patch at all and it's been months now. If we're allowed to rag on an early access title, we're damn well right enough to rag on a port job. Imagine if there was a multiplat game, where the console versions were busted, and the game was up for the awards, it wouldn't fly and people would rag on it in an instant. |
you're right. that's part of it. but let's remember something : Overwatch was hated for winning last year, and that was (from what I know) a pretty complete game all around for PC and console platforms.
It's not just about how stable a game is, I think it's also that people are just pretentious. If it's a multiplayer game that's just a fun multiplayer game? Disqualified! Don't you know MP only is below the singleplayer master race?
