It's because it's a popular indie game, that just happens to be in early access, yet it's on for sale at the store.
Mind you, this tends to happen every year, always some game that doesn't deserve to be up on the list, or is shitty by a select group's form of standards.
I see people clamouring for Nier to win an award, yet I'm sitting here, still waiting for SE to sort out the PC version, which hasn't received a single patch at all and it's been months now. If we're allowed to rag on an early access title, we're damn well right enough to rag on a port job. Imagine if there was a multiplat game, where the console versions were busted, and the game was up for the awards, it wouldn't fly and people would rag on it in an instant.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
