http://www.pcgamer.com/decksplash-bossas-multiplayer-skateboarding-sim-is-cancelled/
Bossa Studios announced Decksplash back near the start of the year, and it looked quite promising: "The Rocket League of skateboarding," we called it, following some hands-on time with an alpha build in May. But in October, the studio dropped an ultimatum: If it didn't attract at least 100,000 players during a free week set to begin on November 2, the whole thing would be cancelled.

http://www.pcgamer.com/seven-the-days-long-gone-explains-how-youll-traverse-its-multi-tiered-world/
Seven: The Days Long Gone is a gorgeous feat of world design, said Tyler after going hands-on with IMGN.PRO and Fool's Theory's isometric RPG last year. It's since teased a fair bit more of its stealthy murder—and now wants to showcase its traversal and movement mechanics.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 won't arrive for another week, but Electronic Arts has already unveiled what players have to look forward to in a free update coming in December. Beginning on December 5, players will have the opportunity to sign up for either the First Order or the Resistance, which will lead into faction-based challenges with "special rewards."
Bungie says Destiny 2 clan chat is 'one of our highest priorities'
http://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-says-destiny-2-clan-chat-is-one-of-our-highest-priorities/
I've been sinking quite a bit of time into Destiny 2, as you do, and really enjoying it overall. But I find it endlessly annoying that it's so tremendously difficult to communicate with anyone. I am literally surrounded by other players, and all I can do is The Macarena. Even connecting with clanmates is an unnecessary hassle.
Injustice 2 DLC will add The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
http://www.pcgamer.com/injustice-2-dlc-adds-the-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles/
It's been a quick turnaround for superhero brawler Injustice 2: we found out that the previously console-only fighter was coming to PC last month, and following a short public beta its launch is only three days away. Ahead of that, developer NetherRealm Studios has revealed the fighters arriving in the game's third DLC pack, and they include The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Cowabunga!
Hunting system in battle royale game The Darwin Project lets you track enemy footprints
http://www.pcgamer.com/hunting-system-in-battle-royale-game-the-darwin-project-lets-you-track-enemy-footprints/
The developers of The Darwin Project, the upcoming battle royale game, want to make combat as frequent as possible. "In other games, the most fun part of the experience is when you're fighting other players, but this represents less than 10% of the match," they point out in the video above. To change that formula the game will have multiple features aimed at making it easier to spot and track other players, including footstep trails and fires that you can see for miles around.

http://www.pcgamer.com/dev-diary-shows-how-star-citizens-alpha-30-will-make-space-travel-more-hollywood/
Everyone remembers the moments in Star Wars where a ship shoots into a hyperspace tunnel and all the stars become a blur, and Star Citizen wants to add some of that Hollywood drama into its upcoming alpha 3.0, according to the latest development diary.

Publisher Kalypso (of the more recent Tropico games) has announced that it's due to arrive on January 26.

http://www.pcgamer.com/cd-projekt-red-has-no-plans-for-a-fourth-witcher-but-will-probably-return-to-the-world-someday/
Dreams of The Witcher 4 will probably never become reality, judging by the words of CD Projekt chief executive Adam Kiciński.
He told Polish site Strefa Inwestorow that the developer has no plans for Geralt to make a comeback because The Witcher was envisaged as a trilogy, and the third game provided a definitive end to his story.
VR horror RPG Left-Hand Path screams out of Early Access
http://www.pcgamer.com/vr-horror-rpg-left-hand-path-screams-out-of-early-access/
The idea of a VR horror game terrifies me—I have enough trouble making it through a horror game in a well-lit room with my own music blaring. But as an example of the genre, Left-Hand Path seems a decent one, and has been getting good user reviews on Steam. It blends VR horror with RPG elements inspired by the Dark Souls series into a 15-hour story in which you cast spells by drawing runes in the air with your hands.

In his review, James reckoned Call of Duty: WW2's solo campaign failed to do history justice, but that its multiplayer "recalls the glory days of Modern Warfare." Server issues have however marred its social features—and developer Sledgehammer Games has now addressed how it plans to fix them, and when we might expect the forthcoming PC patch.
