I always think of this thread as "Nintendomination" and not "Nintendominion" lol XD

Anyways, has anyone watched this?

The Treehouse employee says that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 "isn't open-world" (I think he worded it badly, it's more like you can't go everywhere right away but I don't know if that would disqualify it as open-world?) and that you can expect it to be a little longer than Xenoblade Chronicles but shorter(possibly by a lot) than X all things accounted for.

Allow me to translate.  This game is structured like the first but with more overall open space since more of the Titans are like Bionis Leg.  So it is more open world like than 1, but not full blown like X.

Story wise it's probably longer than 1 but definitely longer than X, he's referring to overall content.  Side content in X is absurd.  X has a shorter main story than 1 though.   So - and this is according to Takahashi - XC2 is bigger and longer than XC but is not as big in overall content as XCX which should not surprise anyone given XCX put such enormous emphasis on that.

And open world vs not, it's more a sliding scale.  XC2 is more open world it seems than XC but not as much as XCX since there's a more structured progression.

I was trying to restate that all in a smaller package in my parenthesis. That's what I was trying to get at with my summary but maybe it didn't come off too well : p Thanks for clarifying for anyone who is confused.
