Hopefully if skyrim vr development went well, they will make elder scrolls 6 a vr game from the ground up. By its release (most likely 2020+) vr should have already replaced normal gaming.
Biggest problem with vr is still many people havnt tried it. This will change with increasements of VR hardware sales. Many people cant go back after playing vr so starting to develop a non vr game now wouldnt be very clever. Nobody wants to play that in a few years.
