Things doesn't scale linearly and sometimes we get quite the surprise...

But the X1 holding 60 fps against PS4 on 30% HW difference makes the IQ seem bigger than Switch at 30fps (which makes the gap half already) needs less downgrade against X1 that isn't like 4x over Switch....

If X1 and PS4 ran the game at 30 fps then a lot more downgrades would be needed for Switch.

Just for record, both PS4 and XB1 using dynamic resolutions, just in case of PS4 resolution is most of the time 1080p, while for XB1 "regularly struggles to hit full 1080p, more often coming in around 1472x828 or lower". Talking about frame rate, PS4 has small drops, while on XB1 "during many of the larger battles, frame-rates tumble into the mid-50s with some dips all the way down into the 40s". So it's actually quite difference between PS4 and XB1 version of games.

So game is not 1080p/60fps on XB1, its more something like 820p/50fps.

Okay, just played through the first mission.

Resolution is almost certainly dynamic; and yes, when it drops it can be rather blurry by current gen standards, though on the plus side jaggies are pretty much non-existent thanks to the use of the temporal supersampling AA and heavy post-processing.

Framerate is solid so far.

As someone who hasn't played the game before, it's a blast; movement feels good, and the combat mechanics are very satisfying. I can see how it would benefit significantly from a 60fps clip, but I'm still finding it very playable and fun at 30.

So yeah, the technical sacrifices required to bring it to portable hardware are clear, but they don't ruin the experience.

Its great to hear that.

Not sure the point you wanted to make about the difference between PS4 and X1, but that certainly wouldn't be one that would warranty extra points for x1
