By VGC numbers, which have mostly been adjusted now to match MS official numbers those years:

2013- 3m

2014- 7.9m

2015- 8.6m

For 2014, most analyst say XB1 was at 10.5m by the end of the year.

Also from EA statment we can estimate that XB1 was at abour 19.1m by the end of 2015, so if we use 7.5m for 2014, and 3m for 2013, the sales of 2015 are pretty much the same as VGC. So XB1 sales are more like:

2013 - 3m
2014 - 7.5m
2015 - 8.6m

EA made a statement that the PS4 + XB1 sold 79 million by the end of 2016. PS4 sold 53.9m according to Sony, so that would put the XB1 at 25.6m.

7-8m for XB1 this year are absolutely waaaaaay too much.

So far it sold 1.4m in USA by the end of September (down YOY by 26% compared to 2016 1.89m), and as we know US is a very big part of XB1 sales. It used to be 60%, but the percent is actually dropping year after year. (in 2013 it was 60.6%, in 2014 58.3%, in 2015 57.4%, and in 2016 55.7%) So is likely that this year US sales are a bit less than 55%, this would put XB1 at around 2.6m more or less.

In October XB1 won't sell over 300k, and this is also a very optimist prediction (September was 175k in USA, and October will of course be less than that), so XB1 will most likely be under 3 million when November start.

XB1 is not gonna sell over 4 million this holiday season......

From what I have, the US made up somewhere between 57% to 62% of the XB1's total sales by the end of 2016. It largely depends on whether EA's estimate - PS4's sales is accurate or if IHS's number (27.6m) is accurate. SuperData had the XB1 at 26m by the end of last year, though a lot of people don't trust in SuperData.
