There is a reason these black friday deals are announced almost a week early. It allows people make plans and know exactly what they are gonna channel their money into.
Also, don't forget that its not even about making a lot of money selling 100k consoles at $300. Its about getting 500k people, even if they are buying your console at $200 to actually pick it up, cause those 500k people are gonna buys games, controllers, sign up for PSN....etc.
Honestly, I am even surprised why its taken them this long to drop to $200.
