interesting responses on this thread. Apparently only visitors to this site skip all multiplatform games. So, this set of responses would be called a small targeted response size or anecdotal. If people were really honest, why would anyone buy a PS4 pro if they were an "average" gamer? Clearly, based on software sales, the average gamer plays multi platform games. In that case, you would get the XB1X. Better multiplatform game performance, and a UHD drive...

Well, games are the reason why people buy consoles. Multi platform games might look marginally better on Xbox One X, though the PS Pro has the same games, in addition to their wider range of first party titles.

Also the average gamer probably won't even notice amuch of a difference between the two consoles in multiplats. Pricing and marketing are a bigger factor imo.

The UHD drive though, is a good addition for value the XB1 X.

But, the average gamer buys the cheapest most "popular" system, so they wouldn't buy either of these. But now, the enthusiast advanced gamers seem to be saying the no longer want the best console, only the one they bought for that reason three years ago.

Or you know, people might have moved onto better things.. its natural.

Once you experience PC gaming (high end/mid range), it be like driving a Ferrari.. and going back to consoles be like driving a Ford. There's a reason why there's enthusiasts in hobbies. Some people want better things.

Bolded.
