Do you answer the door at 8pm?

Someone knocked on my door loudly, and it would seem only my door at 8pm. Maybe it was because they saw the lights. Either way I acted like I wasn't home or in the bathroom or something. They could easily look inside and see the shining Laptop and tv, and me very clearly if I was still sitting there. Instead I hid in the bathroom. I could only hear a man talking, which only made me more weary. The risk seemed too great for me.

If it was someone that needed help, they could have knocked on many of the other doors, including the ones with lights on or stop someone on the street. As we have lots of college students still commuting home at this hour.
