I don't think it have to sell equal to X1, when I say on pair is that it holds a portion of sales that at least attach ratio is similar (and we know when the HW number is smaller the attach ratio for specific games tend to be higher).
But Nintendo fans won't have an excuse for the sales as they usually put it's because it's a bad port, bad game, poor taste, etc.
