Apathy to image quality/graphics is not accurate at all. Apathy to the blown out of proportions difference between Xbone and PS4 that we saw a million threads about at launch and for awhile after, sure. And the PS4 to Pro represents that same small leap in quality. Fortunately the Scorpio is a massive upgrade to the Xbone, and also has lots of features built in that spruce games up even better. Some of the BC games for example look amazing, as already mentioned in the thread. Plus super sampling support built right in, yowza. That one is less of a draw for me personally because I am waiting to replace the 4k TV my son broke before buying a Scorpio.

So the difference between X1X to PS4Pro is higher than from PS4 to X1??? Seems just like that MS PR person saying X1X wouldn't compete with Pro, because it was so above that PS4Pro would be competing with X1S.

Also... Those claiming that the Playstation 4 Pro/Xbox One X is a waste because they are still using a 1080P display... Well. Sorry to break it to you, but there are some large visual enhancements even at 1080P, you truly are missing out on extra fidelity.

And you could potentially be buying a 4K TV in the next 4 years... so if you don't have any 8th gen console a X1X or PS4Pro would be a better choice (if money allows), but for most the upgrade isn't worthwhile unfortunatelly (even if they have 4k set).

Absolutely  not,  this website has an equal representation of Xbox, Pc, Ps, and Nin.  It is in no way skewed towards Ps or Nin or anything else.

I have a pretty okay specced PC, so Xbox One X doesn't do anything for me. And PS4 Pro doesn't really offer enough of an upgrade over the original PS4..

Plus, I want both consoles to fail/not meet their expectations so that Sony/MS might have rethink their strategy for launch cycles. I want shorter generations, not stop gaps that prolongs advancements in games tech.

Well, Sony have said in all PR that PS4 is beating their expectations and X1X have had 2 batches of pre-order filled and there is backorder, so it be a success.
