Great game, but I wish the checkpointing had been better in the last 20 minutes; I died during the final battle and it starts me back at the church entrance, which was a tad annoying as I felt like that was wasting my time a bit; should've just had an autosave at the start of the fight. Gonna take a break and get back to the post-game content after Doom. 

So checkpoint silliness aside, what did you think of the overall climactic sequence?  And so far, the game in general?  No need to be spoilery for those who haven't played it yet.
