I havent bought or owned a cod since black ops 2, for a variety of reasons. played them at friends houses instead.
I despise Activision and was planning to not buy anything from them ever, but WWII looks stellar from the gameplay and reviews i've seen, I might pick it up on a deep sale sometime in the future, if only to support Sledgehammer games. Also I've heard that microtransactions are toned down compared to some previous cods, (someone fill me in with the details) so I might give this one a chance down the line.

Microtransactions are all cosmetic. You do get different varieties of a gun but you have to have already unlocked the gun and the guns stats aren't changed. Also from what I've played you can't buy Supply drops and they must be earned but I expect that to change.

Wow, thats great news. I may pick it up as early as boxing day (canadas black friday).

They might have delayed the microtransactions to make the to make the game review better, but even with them included it still feels more toned down. Good stuff.
