Like I said, right before that trailer it said Console Launch Exclusive or whatever. That pic is immediately following the trailer. It seems you didn't watch or don't remember the MS E3. They clearly labeled every game that got a trailer. The only games people could possibly be confused on were the ID games in the sizzle reel.

I see it now. Thanks.
And you mean "people who watched E3".
The vast majority of the millions who didn't watch E3 could get quite confused or mislead by the way Phill labeled them, because that's how news articles commonly reported it.

It doesn't make sense for MS to make it clear that PUBG is eventually coming to PS4, they want you to think it might only be on Xbox.

I'm not disagreeing on that part. It's partially the same principle behind buying marketing rights.
What I'm saying I have an issue with is them using two distinguishably different terms, to mean the same thing.

This goes beyond just being non-transparent about a planned PS4 version.

They're not using 2 terms to describe a single version of a game. They're using the " console exclusive" term to describe the Xbox Game Preview Edition. I doubt you'll ever see that version on any other platform.
