I understand there are people that preffer it, but I keep on the "it is an exageration". And you lost my interest on this conversation when you gone to "boring old realism", yet not talking about the even older sprites and cellshading. When majority of the cartoony games take roots in the looks of our world just stylizing it and several realistic games have looks out of this world your excuse for being tired of your world is off.

And I don't care about this being your opinion or mine. When you said your remark about Indies over AAA you weren't putting you preffer, you were putting it objectively and that it was broad.

Because the last time I checked, the last time I looked out of my window, everything wasn't pixelated or looked like a painting, it looked like the real world... I'm not sure if you're either being extremely ignorant here, or are just woefully misunderstanding what I've wrote, so I'm going to try and simplify it for you;

There are games that use pixel art or cell shading, and then there are those games that try to have the most realistic graphics ever, usualyl AAA games... I'm not a fan of that style, I don't like super realistic graphics, I get enough of "realistic" in the real world, when I play a game I want it to look different from the real world. It doesn't matter if they're games set in real places, I prefer those approaches to the art style than going for photorealism.

And I never once put it objectively, I've made it very clear that it is all my opinion, it is all subjective, and I'd prefer it if you didn't accuse me of doing otherwise.

As I've already said, if you want to talk about this some more, make a thread of it. You're starting to bore me now, and if you want to continue down this path, in this thread, there will be consequences. Consider this a warning.

Last time you checked I bet you also didn't saw nearly similar to the landscapes  of the games. So being realistic doesn't make it like what you see every day.

And since I watch a lot of anime and have been playing for 30 years I have seem my quota of pixel art and cell shading, so for me it's also old.

But since you are going to use your moderator power farewell.
