People care because like the topic creator some are confused and think it means a permamnent exclusive.
As for the games, MS presented 42 games and labeled 22 games at E3 as "console exclusive".
People were confused and started posted links to games that showed their annouced platforms, and it didn't add up to anywhere near 22. So people came to the conclusion that MS were talking about timed exclusives.

Your post originally had a picture saying "all part of the plan". I don't know why you removed it, but you were basically admitting the marketing was doing exactly what it was intended to do. The game has been confirmed to be coming to both consoles multiple times now. Ignorance on one sides part does not mean the other side is at fault.

At E3 Microsoft put text up before every game saying whether it was console exclusive, console launch exclusive, Microsoft exclusive, or a world premiere, aka a regular multiplat. If anyone was confused, they've only got themselves to blame :)
