welp, this looks really shady. I feel like Activision is preparing for something huge with regards to Call of Duty, its new engine which basically manipulates players and now this weird spectator mode for loot box openings. I feel like we have to be ready for the next stage in AAA gaming, rife with DLC's, microtransactions and locking core content behind a paywall, all reluctantly accepted by the audience. Activision is going to push boundaries with what's acceptable in gaming, they did that with destiný's expansion pass and it did prove successful for them even after all that backlash. Ads for DLC's in their own games are already pretty bad but ads for MICROTRANSACTIONS???!!! damn, that's a whole new level.
