Call Of Duty: WWII doesnt work at all without the day 1 patch. The disc is completely useless without the internet

No, you can't play anything without that day 1 patch. You would get as far as the menu screen, but that's it.

Really? Well, that's just stupid. I expect a fair few returned copies then, I think a game that doesn't work is allowed a refund. :P
