Amazon with Prime is the only way to do it as far as I'm concerned. I get it either launch day with 20% off if I pre-order OR I can get it in a day or two with normal order at what is always the lowest (even if equal) price.

I hate going into a store if I can help it and I really have never liked Gamestop's practices of used games/opening new cases, etc.

Have you looked into GCU with BestBuy?

I was an Amazon Prime exclusive shopper for games, until I discovered GCU...

Yes.

GCU requires an additional yearly fee while Prime is something I have for many other features and this discount is just an awesome addition.

GCU requires me going into a store instead of deciding to buy a game anywhere I am in the world and having it show up in my home on day of launch or a day/two from order for free. The time I save from having to stop at a store alone is worth an extra few bucks I could potentially save via GCU vs Amazon. Consider gas and time savings in that equation.

I would never get a retail company credit card, so no compounding the "benefit" from that.

I'm glad GCU works for you, but for me, I'll stick with the simpliest option at a similar price.
