Barcelona today

Because all catalonia wants to leave.... right?

So, were 62% of teh people prohibited from voting?

How did 38% of the population get to decide for Catalonia?

Haven't paid attention to this ordeal, but those pics just remind me of Democrats protesting after Clinton lost. Trying to say that democracy doesn't work or something. You know, after a peacefull election was just held.

The referendum was ilegal, it had no guarantees and the government advised not to vote because they were going to stop it, so the people that would have voted NO stayed in home. Right now we don't even know if the numbers the government of Catalonia gave are right and not made up, we do know however that some people voted more than once which already tells you how "serious" and "democratic" this referendum was, but even if the numbers were valid that would still mean that only a 38% of the adult population of Catalonia have said that they want to go, the rest may want to stay, you don't declare independence with only that, its highly unethic, but they did it anyways.
