You are wrong. I AM of african descent. But I still don't see how insulting my race could be worse than, say, calling my mother a bitch (son of a bitch is another phrase that I see people throwing around like it is nothing).
Maybe I just see racism from a different perspective. You see, if you think that you are better than someone else based only on your race, then I think you're just stupid. And stupid people don't deserve my attention nor my time.
But like I said, I have noticed that in the U.S. there is an oversensibilization to anything race related that is not present in other parts of the world.
