All of the gameplay footage I've seen (and I've seen quite alot of it) looks like The New Order but with better graphics, and all of the cutscenes seem to be about on par with The New Order when it comes to the writing. So tell me this, how does a game that looks roughly the same as it's predecessor meta 10 points higher? Could the game actually be worthy of an 89 meta? Sure, I think The New Order was actually underrated by the critics personally, so it's not impossible for it to actually be an 89 worthy game, I will have to see that for myself. But the fact remains that the gaming media is left biased (and don't try to say they aren't, it's quite clear that they are), and that there is political turmoil surrounding this game due to the alt-right seeing it as an attack on them, and that it would be all too easy for gaming journalists to abuse their power in an attempt to counter a possible boycott of the game by the alt-right. |
If the alt-right see it as an attack on them, then maybe they should realize that there's going to be a problem if they're considering themselves Nazis. The Wolfenstein games have had Nazis as the enemies since the beginning, this is nothing new.
