What was once Xbox One love had clearly evolved into some sort of medical disorder. On November 7 of this year, there will be FIVE Xbones in my home. I need an intervention before I finally snap and build a Minecraft home out of consoles.

Since launch, I've actually purchased a whopping seven consoles. Two were gifts, though. Let's recap:

-March 11th 2014: I already had a PS4 but I was looking for a reason to buy an Xbox One. Titanfall launch day bundle was as good a reason as any...

-November 7, 2015 (gift): a thread on this very site told of an ad on Newegg.com that came with a ton of games, and some headphones for less than retail. I got it as a gift for my ex's son. It was the least I could do since I bad mouthed his original Xbox so badly in 2001 that he traded it for a GBA.

-May 17, 2016: I was in GameStop picking up my pre-order for Valkyria Chronicles on the PS4. They had XBO consoles on sale for like $250. I couldn't resist! Tossed it in the living room for the family. Much more room for Kinect.

-November 25, 2016: Owning a PSVR prompted me to upgrade my PS4 to a PS4 Pro. Owning a PS4 Pro prompted me to buy a 4K TV. Owning a 4K TV prompted me to get an Xbox One S. I ordered a grey one from Amazon.

-December 2016 (gift): My daughter has always been a gamer. Her mother and I have gone separate ways in 2013. Whenever she's around, we play Xbox together so I thought it'd be a good idea if I got get an Xbox One S so we could play online. I bought her a blue one.

She barely touched it.

It seems she only plays Xbox when she's at my house. Otherwise, she's happy to play on 3DS or something.

October  27, 2017: I figured my daughter would play her XBO more if it was mobile so I bought her a gaming monitor that attaches to the top of her XBO.  She didn't want it. I planned to attach it to my Xbox One S after I get an Xbox One X...but my Xbox One S is grey and the screen is white! After that, everything was a blur and now I have a white XBO attached to it's own flip up screen. Basically a gaming laptop.

November 7, 2017: The Xbox One X launches and I have it pre-ordered.

Whew! That's a lot of Xbox. Currently there's one in my game room (XBO S with 8TB external HDD and Kinect), one in my living room (OG 1TB with 2TB External HDD and Kinect), one in my bedroom (OG 500GB with 2TB HDD), and the one attached to the mobile gaming screen (White XBO S with 2TB external). I'm gonna give one of them away when I get my Xbox One X, though.

So...yeah. I'm crazy.
