Most second BIOS chips are read-only. So once you screw up, it will boot from the second BIOS, reset things and boot from the main BIOS again.
You can reset your BIOS though if you screw things up, there is usually a jumper on the motherboard which will do it... Or you can take out the BIOS battery on the motherboard and disconnect your PC from the mains to give the BIOS a thorough reset.
Overclocking can always be reversed to a point. - Unless you overclock far to high and apply to much volts accellerating the effects of electromigration, rendering your chip a paper weight, only ever happened to me once 20 years ago though... But the motherboard was still good. :)
You could just increase your CPU's turbo speeds a good 400mhz, the extra clocks will then be available when you need it.
Turbo modes usually operate at higher voltages naturally, so are less likely to be prone to causing errors.

The second game is usually viewed as the best one, so you could try that one, if you can still find it in a bargain bin. |
I have every game in the franchise, I did give the second one a fair whack but couldn't get into that either. Just not my kind of game I think.
I have always preferred a really good Sci-Fi to be honest... And Ass's creed is Sci-Fi wrapped in fantasy.
