It will make a difference because the Japanese will want to play the game. It will help 360 sales for at least a little while. The game doesn't look like it will make it to PS3.
"When asked whether the title would see release on the PlayStation 3, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Yamagishi replied "We can say that it will be released first [on the Xbox 360]. Whether we'll release it on the PS3 is undecided. We may release it, we may not."
