I am the same, yet people still try to tell me I am wrong.  Nothing sexist about it, just personal preference.  Having an opinion in 2017 is frowned upon though unfortunately.

There's nothing wrong with your own gaming preferences. It's your money. Besides, would people give you shit for not enjoying the racing games genre for example? Why is gender so taboo as a gaming preference. Lastly, if it is reversed, say women being asked if they play male or female (it's always female btw), and they gave a similar answer as mine then all would be fine and dandy. Somehow the other way around is looked down upon. There are people out there that really really really want you to play as a female, because that by their standards proves you're not sexist for some reason.
