Both genders have draw backs. Women earn less because they go into professions that pay less. Men are working more dangerous jobs. Thats why most fatalities on the workplace are men. Ever see a woman cleaning the canalisation ? Men are physically stronger so they do jobs that most women cant like construction. This inturn makes the pool of workers smaller and the value of the worker higher. For the same job/hours its illegal to pay less based on gender and the fines are extremly high. Men are much more likely to put in overtime.
Men are several times more likely to be murder victims. And victims of violent assault. Men are 3 times more likely to commit suicide. Men in prisons are also more likely to be raped. Yes women have their shit to deal with. So do men. Proping up a gender in favour of the other makes no sense. Feminism is a loaded word and has been extremly tainted. Men and women have the same rights. But truth is they are biologically different. Feminists try to focus on the outcome. They want the outcome to be same and of the outcome is not the same it must be sexism. But men and women act differently. Feel differently and are on a spectrum different the outcome will never be the same unless you actively disadvantage one side over the other. Women and men should have the same rights but expecting every statistic to be 50/50 is insane.
