They are especially welcome, they have some insaders and people who have informations from Japan sales and Japan devs from first hand. I mean people like Chris 1964 would be very welcomed everywhere.

That was normal thinking when PS4 had worst 1st year ever in for any gaming hardware in Japan (it needed 49 weeks to hit first 1m), lotsa people (including me) thought that PS4 will not pass Vita LT with those terrible sales from first year, so that wasnt strange or "crazy" thinking. We also had here loads of people that said Switch will be fail, so what, people can be wrong.

I wouldn't call them Nintendo fanboys, but of course that Japan sales thread will have plenty of Nintendo fans when Nintendo was almost constantly dominating in Japan sales past 10 years.

They criticizing Japanese developers when they skipping Switch because it's obvious that Switch will be (it already is) huge in Japan.

Not just switch but when ps4 games skipped 3DS/Wii U too. This has been going on long before Switch was even revealed. 

 

And they were deluded fanboys regarding ps4 sales.  Did they really think ps4 sales would remain low when the inevitable awesome line up of software hit?  No they let their hopes cloud their judgement.
