Thanks for the suggestions.

I think Snake Pass will be up my alley since I find the concept appealing and I'm a sucker for David Wise's music.

I don't have a PS4/Xbone/gaming PC so I haven't been able to play Doom yet.

Nope. You don't like stressful games and Snake Pass makes things constantly hectic and frustrating with its controls. You might be able to enjoy the game for an hour, but after the initial four levels the difficulty ramps up notably. David Wise's music is easily the strongest point of the game, but there are only four tracks and their mood doesn't gel with the gameplay. This isn't a relaxing game, rather it's one that makes me want to throw the controller away because the controls suck so hard.

I panned the game with a score of 3/10 and other Switch owners either agreed or took some time to agree, like in Volterra's case. The high number of ownership you can see in the OP of this thread is due to Snake Pass being the very first game to have a temporary discount on the Switch eShop.

I can subscribe this opinion. The game looks cool, and plays well at the beginning, but afterwards the controls totally get stuck in your way. Specially when you go for completion. So while you're hearing the awesome, relaxing Wise's music, at the same time you just want to throw your controller through the window xD.
