No, I'm pointing out that a statement is not proof of anything. How many times do I have to say this before people stop trying to misrepresent what I'm saying. 

Neither are innocent or guilty until we have real proof. Is that simple enough for you?

Actually, whether or not any evidence is available, guilt or innocence exists at any point. Our legal systems just require guilt beyond a reasonable doubt before imposing sanctions.

 

Some innocent people are convicted. Some guilty people are never charged or are found innocent. Some guilty people are found guilty and some innocent people are found innocent.
