Probably because all of Microsoft exclusives are strongest in the US territory but if we take a look at other regions where Sony exclusives are much stronger the tables turn and it becomes unquestionably skewed in PS4's favour ... 

The above just proves that exclusives matter more than you think since Microsoft is able to keep up with Sony in the US with just Halo, Gears and the first Titanfall where their all coincidentally system sellers in that region ... (the only thing Sony has worth of note in the US is Uncharted, TLOU and God of War both of the latter which has yet to release)
