Haha, more of the most stubborn, ignoring the server maintenance announcements. (They're in PDT, pointless dental time?)
And yeah it's my luck that the servers are in Japan, so the maintenance time falls right inside my play time window.

Last time I could save after the servers came back, however then I was watching Netflix in between. This time I kept doing challenges since as long as you don't go back to the main menu it won't lock you out and you can keep playing. I guess what happened is that the server came back on too late causing some kind of timeout, since the server maintenance message changed into "you must be connected to the server to proceed" after about an hour and a half. It stayed that way even when trying to use the reconnect option aftwwards, must be connected to the server to attempt reconnect, logic!

I left it on through the night hoping it would sort itself out yet had no other option than to restart this morning. Back to having to do challenge 8 from stage 5, while I was already at challenge 8 from stage 6. I do still have the trophy for all gold on the rally challenges, but don't have the challenges themselves... So now including with the demo, I'll be doing stage 6 for a third time. At least the racing is supurb and it gets easier every time. Any other game and I would have traded it in by now. Stupid always online, can't save after being disconnected too long.
