Well, I can't really call them journalists, can I? I could be wrong but I recall a time where gaming wasn't as political. Maybe I missed a lot of it because there was no twitter or shit like that but there were actual gaming news to discuss every day.

Don't get me wrong twitter is a cesspool.  I agree with you on one thing.  There are more important things with gaming than some stupid overblown bullshit that frankly I don't even know what the hell it is about.  I believe it started with some female that men accused of getting ahead of the game by sleeping with superiors.  I don't give a shit about all that.
