Yes I did, read again my post to double check that.

Yeah that link is no good its just a old random statement without any sources they guy that made it probably pulled those numbers out of his ass.

It's possible. But considering one company is pulling games twice or three times faster, do you really think FM team is 3x more efficient or is more likely to have about 3x the size of the team involved (be then internal or outsourced)?

Interesting, and informative - thank you.  That said do we know who decided to be online only.  Sony, or Poly?

It would be Polophony , history shows that GT is Kaz's baby and he runs the show , the success of the franchise and polophony's structure makes it hard to go agains't his wish's, this can be seen with GT5 having all those upgraded PS2 era car models because he said long time fans would miss their favourites, common sense would have had them going through the older models and picking out the iconic models for proper upgrades whilst trimming all those cars that where simply just  variants of the same car, I know I enjoyed seeing brand new sports cars in all that HD glory, but when i also saw some pretty average cars given the same treatment rather than Icon's of the industry I was dissapointed , and what was worse knowing that any constructive criticism would be lost too Kaz's current  infatuation's.

God I miss the feeling of early Gt games, being able to start off racing cars till I could afford to buy something like a toyota celica that I would then take with me up through the eligible classes beefing it up along the way to the point it could no longer compete and  all that time using those races to pay for all those added upgrades meant I had completed about 70% of the series it could run in, all with one car, that done I would move on to do all the other races.

Funny thing is that besides GT1 that I didn't know how to do the career on for several months =p all other I didn't really have to amaze much money to do the competitions because of the prizes on the licenses, challenges and championships. I remember zero grind on 5 and 6, and even on PS2 that is 12 years back on my memory I haven't needed to put much grind.

Cannot save, the server is currently undergoing maintenance. I just got all gold on a lap time attack. Now everything is blocked out except arcade. Normally, always online games give you plenty of warnings before the server is taken down, GT Sport is just a confusing mess of error messages and black screens until you finally get back to the main screen. Likely because I got all gold on a track which gives you a new car and other stuff which it all saves separately.

Come on, always online with server maintenance, make the client aware and respond accordingly to it. I guess I'll leave the ps4 on and go watch The Orville, maybe I can save my game after. Or do it again tomorrow and see if the car it gives you is actually random. Got an Aston Martin One-77 this time.

Edit: Server was back after watching some Netflix, game saved normal, no progress lost, played another hour without problems.

Odd glitch with the pro, the video output mode stays in wide color HDR when switching to Netflix, you can't change it as that will close GT Sport (and lose progress) So I watched DS9 an SD show displayed in wide color HDR. They had some very bright lights on that space station and extra bright colors. (It's the tv interpreting the signal as if it's wide color HDR, extrapolating the whites and widening the color range, it's like watching tv on shrooms) HDMI is awesome, not.

The always online will piss a lot of people... so you played on shrooms? kkk... well when I enable HDR and use netflix most content was on a very strange coloring and most times too bleached and to much light.
