If we went by your logic then the original PS4 would've had 8.25GB of RAM since it had an extra 256MB of DDR3 RAM ...

Yeah but it had less than 8 gb dedicated to gameing.

PS4pro has more dedicated to gameing, than the normal PS4 or PS4slim, because of that extra 1gb.

Even if its a minor differnce.

 

Xbox One X doesnt hae 12 gb of ram for gaming either.

It has like 3gb to stuff running in the background.

 

So for gaming its probably like:

PS4pro = 6-7gb

Xox = 9gb
